John Adams HBO

Hello everyone,
If you are interested in the first years of the US history, you should not miss HBO John Adams (2008). This epic production deals with the life of one of the most influential figures of American history: the second president of the United States, John Adams (Paul Giamatti).

Together with his wife Abigail (Laura Linney), Adams conceived a fair and free nation in which "every man is created equal", and guided his contemporaries through an independence dream - especially George Washington (David Morse), Thomas Jefferson (Stephen Dillane) and Benjamin Franklin (Tom Wilkinson).
These are some of the most important facts of that period as reflected in the miniseries:
  • The Boston Massacre:
  • The Second Continental Congress:
  • The Declaration of Independence:
  • The election of George Washington as the first president of the United States:
  • Benjamin Franklin as ambassador to France:
  • Presidencies of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson:

If you like American history, John Adams is a must-see!!
