Hello everyone!

This is me last winter.
I was in Cardiff Castle and the building that you can appreciate behind me in the picture is known as "the Norman keep".

Cardiff Castle is one of Wales' leading heritage monuments and it is considered to be of international significance. During 2000 years of history, the Castle has been a Roman military garrison, a Norman stronghold and it was transformed into a gothic fairytale fantasy in Victorian times.

The Norman keep was built after the Norman conquest, re-using the site of a Roman fort, dividing the site into inner and outer wards and those were separated by a huge stone wall. At first sight, it seems to be a rude building but, once you go into it, you're trapped by its fairytale atmosphere. Its worth visiting it!
